Heading into this uncommon Christmas, it’s increasingly important to make those special connections from a distance. Due to a global pandemic, many of us will forgo traveling to see our loved ones. With all the negativity and stress surrounding us, and New Year’s coming soon, you may start to see more people around you focusing on improving their health and wellbeing. Here are some great ideas for simple gifts that you can get to help support their goals.
Finding Simple Gifts at the Last Minute
I would feel bad if I didn’t make a post helping out everyone when Christmas is just around the corner! For this list, I found things that are handy, economical, and fit in a box. I also made sure to find gifts that are always needed. Your loved ones will appreciate any one of these gifts and so will your wallet!
This post contains affiliate links for products that have free, fast shipping for last-minute shoppers. I threw in a good stocking stuffer idea or two as well. That being said, you have less than 4 weeks left until Christmas! Let’s get this over with, shall we?
The Best Shaker Bottle
I don’t know about you, but I always need a new shaker bottle. Being small and inexpensive, these are the perfect gift for everyone. Essential for any gym bag and common for the non-gym-goer, you can’t go wrong with a shaker bottle.
These shaker bottles by Performa are beautifully designed and come with a variety of motivational quotes. They’re economically priced and currently on sale! Check them out!
Wrist Weights for Added Fun
Wrist weights are great for anyone working out in the gym or at home this holiday season. Meant to take workouts to the next level, they provide an increase in your workout intensity. They’re great for exercise videos that involve lots of punching or dancing. Generally, wrist weights come in 0.5lb, 1lb, and 2lb heaviness. You can also get ankle weights if you want to go all out!
This pair by Fila has thumb loops for extra security during intense workouts. I have a 1lb pair just like these and don’t find that they bother my hands or annoy me in any way. They’re comfortable, stay put, and best of all, ramp up your workouts.
Say You Love Them with a Yoga Mat
Another great tool for working out at home, you can use yoga mats for so much more than yoga. They’re handy for countless floor workouts, from sit-ups to Pilates to stretches. A durable, thick yoga mat can save anyone’s back while they’re exercising their abs.
Can’t decide which one to get? This mat by Toplus is made to be non-slip, eco-friendly, and comes in a wide variety of fun colors. They’re also currently on sale.
The Simplest of Simple Gifts: Gift Cards
This one’s pretty obvious…but always an appreciated present. Gift cards are an awesome way to save on shipping because you can send them with a letter! Buy a Christmas card with a gift card slot to show you were thinking of them.
These gift cards from Amazon come with adorable gift boxes and ornaments and come in denominations of $25-$2000. Let them choose their own gift this year!
Stocking Stuffer Idea: Compression Socks
Here’s my favorite stocking stuffer idea, knee-high compression socks. These socks are made to improve circulation in the lower legs, helping blood flow back to the heart and reducing swelling. They’re great for anyone who works long hours standing up, is pregnant, or loves going running.
These compression socks by HLTPRO come in a pack of four and feature a reinforced toe, arch protection, and moisture-wicking fabric. They’re made to prevent slipping down the leg and come in both men’s and women’s sizes. They even have a set designed specifically for nurses.
Simple Gifts Make the Holidays Easier
Choosing not to make holiday shopping too complicated will keep your mind on what really matters this year. Focus on connecting with your loved ones and reflecting on the past year. That’s what makes the holidays special, even if your gifts were bought at the last minute.
In the end, no matter what you get for your loved ones this Christmas, they’ll know that you were thinking of them. That’s all that really matters, right? Letting them know you care for them and their wellbeing? Even if money’s tight this year, just give them a call! They’ll appreciate it.

I love these shaker bottles!
Right? They’re super cute
Yes indeed! It’s perfect for everyone 🙂
100%!
Love these ideas especially the wrist weights – did not know those exist. They would make weight training more fun and maybe a lil easier!
I’d also consider – maybe a month of online/in person home workout sessions with a professional for someone really serious about working out at home.
I’m a huge fan of my wrist weights. That’s also a great idea 🙂
I would love for someone to buy me wrist weights and more shaker bottles. You can never have enough shaker bottles 😅
So true!
Really loving these! Would like to get a yoga mat myself hihi!
They’re nice aren’t they? I have one but it’s a bit thinner so I fold it for ab workouts. Maybe I’ll get one of these for Christmas 😉
Loved this! These ideas will be perfect for my dad! 😊👌🏻
Happy to help 🙂
Such great ideas! 🙂
Thanks Olivia!
