A Fitness Journey that’s Long But Rewarding

Hello, people of the internet! My name is Angela and I’m an addict. No, my vice isn’t alcohol or drugs. Rather, it’s a habit. One which has ruined my life. Well, I’ve made a promise to myself that I’ll be stopping that habit. I’ve dedicated this blog to my fitness journey through the struggles of binge eating and becoming a healthy weight.

Starting a Fitness Journey

Let me elaborate a little. I’ve struggled with binge eating for as long as I can remember. I’ve battled with poor self-esteem and anxiety for just as long. Much of my life has been spent hiding away in my room because I’m ashamed of the way I look. More regrettably, I hold off on making friends and going out into the world, simply because I’ve convinced myself that I will when I’m in shape and have more energy.

Obviously, there’s nothing wrong with wanting more energy and a healthier, fitter body. But I do have one serious problem because of it. As a result of my deeply entranched binge eating habit, I keep putting off my plans to follow a healthy diet and start exercising. Trapped in a never-ending binge-restrict cycle. This means in reality, I’m putting off living my life.

The Purpose of This Fitness Blog

I decided to begin this fitness blog to motivate myself, and whoever may stumble upon it. I’m going to lay my fitness journey out for anyone to see. Putting it all out there for everyone on the internet *cringes*. In a way, you’ll be taking this trip with me, which is why I named the blog Lose Weight with Ang.

Still, you don’t have to be losing weight to be part of my weight loss transformation. I’ll be posting inspiring and helpful content for you each week. I plan on posting healthy recipes, advice, and little-known facts about eating disorders and overall wellness. These are things that I’m excited to learn, so I hope you’ll join me along the way.

My Weight Loss Transformation

Also, I’ll be uploading progress posts for every 10 pounds I’ve lost. You’ll be able to see the entire transformation I’m going through. These updates will include:

  • Weight loss pictures taken from various angles
  • Measurements in metric and imperial
  • Weight in metric and imperial
  • My current BMI number, and what it means

Inspiration to Start Your Fitness Journey

Altogether, my goal is to inspire people to follow alongside me on this fitness blog to health and happiness. Although I’m sure to run into problems along the way, I know I’ll pick myself back up and carry on. If you’re along for the ride, call on me when you need a helping hand. After all, if we don’t help each other, who will?

Heh, I may end up crawling down this weight loss transformation path. Nonetheless, it will be worth it! To read my first progress post click here!

That’s it for now everyone. If you’ve found some value in this post, please share it to inspire others too! Thanks!

One Final Note from Ang:

Are you looking to stop overeating and finally get your life back? I have the perfect recommendation for you! Never Binge Again by Dr. Glenn Livingston is a book that effectively teaches readers how to take control of their eating. This book gives you the power to stick to any eating plan you choose.

The Never Binge Again method has helped me finally stop binge eating and move on with a healthy life. Glenn himself reads the audiobook, so you hear it the way it’s meant to sound. If you’d like to learn more about Never Binge Again, I wrote an in-depth and honest review here.
